THE POWER OF

LIQUID BIOPSY

A liquid biopsy is a simple and non-invasive way to detect cancer and monitor its progression. It can provide doctors with valuable information that can help guide treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.

The power of liquid biopsy lies in its ability to detect cancer at an early stage, when it is most treatable.

Liquid biopsy in simple terms!

Cancer cells shed DNA (as clues) into the bloodstream as they grow and multiply. A liquid biopsy is a test that can detect cancer by looking for tiny pieces of DNA from cancer cells that are circulating in the bloodstream. These DNA pieces are known as circulating tumor DNA or ctDNA.

By analyzing CfDNA, ctDNA, doctors can detect the presence of cancer, identify its genetic makeup, and monitor how it is responding to treatment. This information can help your Doctors individualize cancer treatment plans.

EARLY DETECTION &

TREATMENT MONITORING

Liquid biopsy enables the detection and monitoring of cancer using a simple blood sample.

Unlike traditional biopsies which require the removal of tissue from a tumor, liquid biopsy is a minimally invasive procedure that can provide valuable information about a patient's cancer without the need for surgery or an invasive procedure.

Liquid biopsy can also be used to identify cancer mutations, and monitor cancer during treatment, providing real-time information about how a patient is responding to therapy.

In some cases, both tumor tissue biopsy and liquid biopsy may be used together to provide a more complete picture of your cancer. For example, a tissue biopsy may be used to determine the type and characteristics of the cancer, while a liquid biopsy may be used to monitor the response to treatment or detect cancer recurrence. This makes liquid biopsy a valuable tool in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
